Kikuletwa Hot Springs Day Tour (Day Trip)

Discover Chemka Hot Springs

The hidden gem along Arusha and Moshi is a beautiful oasis surrounds by little jungles. However, this waiting for you to enjoy swimming before or after climbing Mount and Safari. While recovering from multi-day tours and hiking trips, a relaxing day tour in Tanzania is one of the best things to do. So enjoy the journey to the Chemka Hot Springs, also known as the Kikuletwa Hot Springs. Just 1 hour from Arusha and 30 mins from Moshi Town, this is one of the hidden gems of Tanzania that you need to visit. The crystal clear water in this jungle oasis is where you can relax all day and enjoy rope swings, tyre tubing, and some high jumps out of the trees.

Explore Kikuletwa Hot Springs

Therefore, the Kikuletwa Hot Springs Tour is an oasis in the hinterland of the Kilimanjaro region, situated 40 kilometres from Moshi, at these idyllic underground springs with crystal clear and turquoise water. So, you can enjoy a Tanzania day trip with the perfect rest after a Strenuous, busy week. But also for day-trippers, they are an ideal destination. The Chemka Hot Spring invites you to linger, swim, and explore, whether young, quiet, or active. On the shore, under lush trees, you can camp.

Discover Chemka Oasis: A Natural Wonder

Ultimately, Chemka Oasis is a unique phenomenon—it is the only place in Tanzania (and most likely in East Africa) where the groundwater actively interacts with geothermal sources, forming several small lakes with warm, never-stagnating water that is not inferior to the purity of the best Dominican or Maldivian resorts.

Local small shops sell snacks and drinks, and regional dishes are even served. You can also buy your snacks before you arrive and have a picnic. It’s you. You decide how long you want to stay there and relax your body and mind; getting a massage or steam bath is an option that locals provide, so take some extra money. We can provide private or local transport with the dala dala to take you there.

Tanzania is packed with natural beauty and offers the unique opportunity to experience wildlife. So, if you consider visiting, you will likely want to see as many tourist attractions as possible.
